Bark of All Trades, LLC – Mobile Pet Grooming Services

Bark of All Trades, LLC Groomer and owner Amy Gauthier was born and raised in southeast Michigan, and graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2000. Amy had always been interested in domestic animal training and health care, and decided this would be her professional focus.  After marrying her husband Jerry, they relocated to Kansas, Indiana, and Minnesota in the first 3 years of marriage. During that time she worked as a Kennel Assistant at a local Humane Society shelter, a Veterinary Assistant at a 24 hour Emergency Hospital, a Kennel Manager at a Veterinary Hospital, and a Quality Control Laboratory Technician ensuring the safety and efficacy of animal vaccines. She then completed her studies with JKL Grooming College and in 2013 started her first pet grooming business: a sole proprietorship, which was the origin of the Bark of All Trades name and logo. Within 2 years, her veterinarian contacted her with a position as the head groomer at their veterinary hospital. She groomed there for 5 years. Amy and her husband then moved to Indiana. In 2018 Amy started an LLC under the Bark of All Trades name, and set up shop grooming dogs in their home. For the first year of business, Amy also worked in an Animal Hospital, fulfilling many rolls, including as a veterinary technician, and a receptionist. After 5 years in Indiana, Amy and her husband moved to Bay City Michigan. In December of 2023 Amy converted Bark of All Trades, LLC to a Michigan LLC, and purchased a state of the art, mobile grooming trailer. Amy has now been working in the pet care industry for 22 years, and has been a professional pet groomer for 12 years. She is happy to be back in Michigan, close to family, and looks forward to serving the Bay area for many years to come!
